Luc Pillot and his crew (Emmanuel Minard, Frédéric Guilmin, Hervé Cunningham) became the inaugural "Trophée Guillaume Cousin" Match Racing Champion, a new ISAF Grade 2 event which be held in Cassis, near Marseille south of France, along side the Mediterranean sea .

One Round Robin was enough in the very hard conditions (the wind was strong throughout the week) at Cassis this week-end.

French skipper Luc Pillot (Le Défi Français ?) won ahead of François Brenac (Défi Français ?) who was second, Jes Gram Hansen (Victory Challenge ? 3rd), Philippe Presti (Défi Français ? 4th) and Nicolas Celon (Oronato Challenge, 5th).
