Till this sunday, everything was clear for the danish Jes

Madeira. Lindqvist swept past Brenac 2 races to 1 in the first-to-three-

No surprise in Porto-Santo and on the second day of
European Match Racing Championship, in winds reaching 18
knots and a blazing sun, the round robin was completed.
The favorites progress to the quaterfinals .
Jes Gram-Hansen received most of the attention prior to
the event. To this point, through the round robin portion
of the regatta, Gram-Hansen has lived up to his billing.
He led the way, registering 10 wins, to sit a top the Group

only misstep on his methodical march to the quarterfinals
was a loss to fellow Dane Jesper Radich in Flight 2.

(7 wins), François Brénac and Andrew Arbuzov (6 wins), Michael
Lindqvist, Johnie Berntsson and the "local" Hugo
